Dr. Levy has joined the International Congress of Oral Implantologists
The International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) was founded in 1972. Devoted to providing
implant education to the entire dental team to better serve its patients, the ICOI
is not only the world's largest dental implant organization, but it is also the world's
largest provider of continuing dental implant education.
Dr. Levy given Top Dentist Rating by Consumer Checkbook
Consumer Checkbook is an independent, non-profit consumer authority that rates local service firms
that you use in your everyday life. These ratings are published in a quarterly publication
"Consumer Checkbook", which is sold in local newsstands and book stores. There is a ballot in
the publication which allows you to rate your local businesses.
Dr. Levy - Giving Back through Volunteerism
Dr. Levy decided that it was time to "give back to the community" and in the fall of 2006 left for Jerusalem where
he spent a week working at the Trudi Birger Clinic as part of the Dental Volunteers for Israel. The
clinic is non-denominational and provides free dental treatment for needy children up to the age of eighteen.
Dr. Levy came away from the experience with the feeling that the "gift is in the giving". Even though
there was a language barrier and little chance for communication with the children, their
appreciativeness was apparent. He was so touched by the experience that he hopes to be able to do the
same type of things in some other country. He feels that this type of volunteerism not only provides a
much needed service, but provides him with another spectrum culturally.
